Everything we do at TSR is for our riders.
From as young as five years old to adults in
their seventies, TSR strives to make each ride
a fun, yet therapeutic experience. We celebrate
the success of our riders everyday!

Horseback riding is recognized as one of
the most beneficial forms of therapy for various disabilities. Developed in Germany in the late 1960's, therapeutic riding has been successfully practiced in Europe, Canada and the United States. For the physically impaired,
riding a horse can play a
significant role in rehabilitation.
A horse's gait is similar to the locomotion
of the human pelvic area. Riding helps strengthen spine and pelvic muscles.  The discipline needed to master riding can improve concentration and emotional control for the mentally impaired.

Therapeutic Riding is a growing and widely-accepted treatment for rehabilitating a range of physical, mental, and emotional disabilities. Conditions served include: cerebral palsy, spina bifida, neuromuscular disorders, post-traumatic brain injury, autism, ADHD, and cognitive disorders. Riders experience increased self-confidence and improvement in strength, balance,
coordination, attention span, language and social skills.
